Available for weekdays (Sunday–Saturday) and evenings (Sunday–Thursday), each package includes your rental time plus 30 minutes before and after for setup and teardown, along with staff cleaning so you can focus on your guests.

How to Book Online
Step 1: Choose Your Package
Start by selecting the type of package you want, ie daytime or evening, and the length of time you need.
Step 2: Choose Your Venue
Next, select the Firefighters Hall for most events. We also have a kitchen/meeting room which is suitable for small meetings with 8-10 people only. If you want both venues, select the Firefighters Hall to proceed.
Step 3: Select Add-ons
You can add-on the kitchen access or rent other equipment, such as an audio system or projector.
Step 4: Select Your Date and Time
If you don't see your first choice available, we are likely booked up that day or time. Choose another date. Available times will show. Click 'Select and continue'.
Step 5: Input Details
Finally, tell us who you are, how we can contact you, and your event details. This is a good place to tell us if you need any extra services. Review our standard rental terms and conditions. Then proceed to payment or reserve without payment, and we'll invoice you later.

For the quickest answer, use the online booking above. If the date doesn’t show as available, it is either because your package is not available on those days (e.g. our evening packages are not available on Friday/Saturdays) or we are booked that day. Check the week earlier or later. If the package is never available on that day of week, then you’re trying to book an invalid package type. Email us if you’re having trouble.
Use the online booking tool to choose a package that suits your needs. The price for each rental package and add-on service will show on the online booking system. If you have a more complex request where one of our standard packages cannot meet your needs, email us.
Your rental is not firm until the booking deposit is received. The booking deposit of 25% of your rental fee is due within 7 days of your booking and is non-refundable. The balance is due 30 days prior to your rental date for Party ‘n’ Go packages and 60 days prior to your rental date for weddings, bar events and non-alcohol events.
When you book online, you have the option to pay immediately with a credit card. Or you can reserve now and pay later. When we invoice you, you can pay via email money transfer or credit cards.
If you’ve selected one of our Party ‘n’ Go or Special Event packages or have otherwise contracted for staff cleaning, then we will look after cleaning for you. We allow for 2 hours for cleaning in the Party n Go packages and 4 hours for the Special Event packages. You are responsible for any excess cleaning time.
At the end of your event, we ask that you return the tables and chairs to their original locations, unless you’ve specifically contracted for set-up/tear down service.
If you haven’t selected a package or staff cleaning, then you are responsible to clean up after your event and return the hall to a rentable condition. Check out our Rental Checklist for a list of cleaning requirements.
We ask renters to take certain precautions with regards to decorating, cleaning, alcohol use and general safety. For non-alcohol packages, we use these Venue Rental Terms and Conditions.
No. If you plan to serve alcohol at your event, you must select the bar event or the wedding weekend package, or contact us for a custom package. HPCC will obtain a liquor license for your event and will have two trained bartenders serving.
Our fully licensed kitchen is not included with the rental packages, except the Weekend Wedding Package. It is available as an Add-On at additional cost for any of our other packages.
HPCC does not offer catering services. You can bring in any caterer or food you wish.
A 25% booking deposit is due within 7 days of your booking request or invoice date. This is to secure your date and confirm your booking. It becomes non-refundable after 7 days. If not paid on time, your booking will be assumed to be cancelled.
The balance of your fees are due 30 days prior to your rental date (or 60 days for weddings and special events).
If you cancel your rental with more than 30 days notice (60 days for weddings and bar events) then your rental fees are refunded, less the booking deposit.
If you cancel your rental with less than 30 days (less than 60 days for weddings and bar events), but more than 7 days notice, than 50% of your rental fees are refundable.
If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, or do not provide notice of cancellation, then no refund will apply.
Floorplan: Main Floor.
Ceiling Height: 9′. Inflatables/bouncy castles are allowed up to 8′ high.
FURNITURE CAPACITY:
At the current time, we have approximately 20-25 tables (6′) and chairs for max 120 people.
LEGAL CAPACITY:
For most events with tables, chairs and bar service, the capacity is 187 people per Fire Marshall. For non-alcohol events with tables and chairs, the capacity is 237. Maximum capacity without tables is 300 (theatre style).
The Community Centre’s road and building signs are seen by 20,000 cars a day and are an excellent tool to market your event at our centre. The signs are rented for a minimum one week period (Monday to Sunday). Please contact us to book.
