The Hammonds Plains Community Centre is a volunteer-based organization. Ā The success and viability of the facility depends on the support of community members like you!
Current Opportunities:
- Board of Directors
- Special Events Committees: Ā three committees plan and execute events targeted at key users of our facility:
- Families – kids activities
- Adult – 19+ dances
- SeniorsĀ
- Bay Treasure Chest: Ā Can you dedicate a Wednesday afternoon once a month? Ā Responsibilities include counting money and reconciliations.
- Maintenance & Improvement Projects:Ā Ā put your handy skills to good use!
- Communications/Marketing Manager: Ā implement marketing for HPCC’s services, promote events happening at HPCC and keeping our audience informed about other Hammonds Plains news and events.
- Drop-In Centre:Ā hosts are needed to ensure a drop-in centre is opened, stocked with supplies and guests are greeted in a time of need when there’s a power outage, natural disaster or other issue impacting our community.Ā Ā Ā
- Event Staff: Ā part-time/contract positions for bartenders, cleanersĀ Ā
